Meet Your Midwife

I am a Licensed Midwife committed to offering thoughtful, personalized care rooted in trust and respect. Since supporting my first births in 2001 and becoming licensed in 2013, I have built my practice on both experience and a deep belief in honoring each family’s unique journey.

My background includes training in a high-volume birth center, where I developed strong clinical skills and a calm, steady presence. I specialize in home birth, water birth, VBAC and collaborative co-care for hospital births thus offering flexible, supportive options that align with each family’s needs and preferences. I am passionate not only about perinatal care and birth, but also life long gynecological health and preconception.

My work is centered in advocacy and informed choice, creating a space where families feel heard, respected and confident in their journey, knowing they are cared for every step of the way.

Is Midwifery Right for Me?

Midwifery care offers a more personal approach to pregnancy, birth, and reproductive health. It’s rooted in the understanding that these experiences deserve time, attention, and care that supports your whole self, not just the clinical pieces.

Many people are drawn to midwifery for the relationship it offers. Visits are longer and more relaxed, giving you space to ask questions, learn about your options, and feel fully supported in your decisions. You’re not rushed through appointments—you’re cared for, listened to, and guided along the way.

This model of care may be a good fit if you’re looking for a more individualized experience, value being informed and involved, and want a provider who takes the time to truly get to know you and your family. Midwives support a low-intervention approach when possible, while also recognizing when additional care, collaboration, or referrals are needed.

Choosing the right care is a personal decision, and it’s okay to take your time exploring what feels right. We’re always happy to connect, answer questions, and help you understand your options so you can move forward with confidence.
